SecureCode Online Security
SecureCode is a relatively new security program designed to protect the online shopper. It is
available for MASTERMONEYTM Debit Card and EFCU MasterCardR Credit Card.
All members are encouraged to apply for a SecureCode even if you do not regularly make online
purchases. By doing so, you may prevent fraudulent use of your card if lost or stolen.
This authentication program allows members to add a personal password to their existing plastic card.
The code prevents the unauthorized use of a member's card number and validates the identity of the cardholder
when making a purchase at participating online merchants.

MASTERMONEYTM Debit Card
EFCU MasterCard® Credit Card
or the first time you make an online purchase at a participating merchant using your existing
MASTERMONEYTM Debit Card or
EFCU MasterCard® Credit Card
a pop-up window will appear. It links you to a third party service
provider where you must enroll for your SecureCode (at no charge to you). Once you are registered, you
can complete your online purchase. Another box will pop up from the card issuer asking for your SecureCode.
This information is not viewable by the merchant. You will enter your unique SecureCode and within seconds, your identity
is confirmed and the purchase is completed.
