Free financial counseling for Eglin FCU members is available through our partnership with Balance.

Balance Financial Counseling

Certified financial counselors can help you develop a family budget or short and long term strategies to meet goals and overcome challenges. Counselors are also available to help you set up a Debt Management Plan. They will review your credit report with you to help you understand the information reported, and can give you guidance on correcting errors and improving your credit score. BalanceTrack Money Management

Members are required to complete the free BalanceTrack Money Management online course with a score of 80% or higher prior to receiving their second SAFE Loan of each calendar year. To enroll in the course:
  1. Go to Balance Financial Education, select Visit Balance and click OK on prompt to be directed to the third-party website.
  2. Log in to Balance or sign up for a free account.
  3. Click the Getting Started tab.
  4. Select BalanceTrack.
  5. Under Financial Basics: Build a strong foundation select the Money Management course.
